Good old fashioned black & white film

A few months ago I brought an old Pentax K1000 SLR. The same as the first SLR camera my dad gave me 14 years ago when I started my art and design HND straight from school. There is a quality you can achieve from film that will never be replicated in digital. It’s very similar to printed type, digitally set type printed on modern litho printers can never quite deliver the same feel of craftsmanship that letterpress printing type can.

Anyway. Here is a few of the shots from the first roll of Ilford HP5 Plus 400 black & white film.

Quite unique, I hope you’ll agree.
